NOTES:

In this vid, we walk through which Vitamix you should buy in 2018. There are a lot of options, but the best for most is the Ascent A2500.

The A2500 has what most people need.

The A3300 is also a great pick and is the same price as the A2500.

If you want the latest and greatest, go with the A3500. It’s got all the bells and whistles and is the one we use. (We also use a 48 ounce, wet container.)

If you’re on a tighter budget, we recommend the Explorian E310. It’s a no-frills option for getting better blends with a Vitamix at a never-before-seen price for a new Vitamix.

If you saw the Venturist V1200 at Costco, it’s a fine choice. Lots of value, but not necessarily the best price for new Vitamix owners.

No matter how you decide, remember that all Vitamix machines can do all the things. Smoothies, juices, hot soups, nut butters, ice creams, and more.

We are excited for you!

  1. Pro 750 is on sale for 550, a3300 is on sale for 500, which one I should pick? The accessories for a3300 are regular price, the personal cup adapter starter kit is on sale for 120. Pro 750 and a3300 , which one is quieter?

  2. I'm British. Going to USA in the summer. Where in the USA can I buy this ? Actually… would you recommend buying it in the UK, or USA ?

  3. I purchased the A2500 about 6 months ago. I’ve started to notice fairly quickly that it would constantly stop while blending thick but soft things like hummus or cashew cheese then it stopped working and we could exchange it for a new one. Just 4 days ago I made hummus and again right away it started to sound very bad, smell burnt and vibrate like it would fall off, then it shut down and said that there was an error. I have no idea why that always happened, I mean it’s mushy hummus, not even frozen food which it also should be able to handle. I could turn it on the next day but still it’s not okay for such an expensive blender, which has recipes for hummus and sorbet to not be able to handle those things. Have you any idea why that happened? I want to be able to blend my food without being scared that it will explode into my face.

  4. Hi! I recently bought the reconditioned new "A2500" model at a great price online on Black Friday (I didn't received it yet!), but now I hesitate because the reconditioned "Standard Programs" is currently also at a great price. Both seem to have the same features (3 preset programs), but the A2500 is more "techno". The jars are also different and that's what makes me the most hesitant, because the jar of the Standard Programs seems more practical for small blend. Do you have a preference? Thank you 🙂

  5. ok , so i have been a vita mix user since forever! my first vitamix was a stainless container with a spout on it 😛 i know!! ancient right?? i have owned and passed down several models since then andi just bought the A3500. love it . Here is my question and i wonder if anyone else has the same complaint i have. I make a smoothie every morning…have for years….. and i love the idea of making it in the container that i can put the cover on and take with me HOWEVER the 20 ounce is just too small. My smoothie fits into a 32 ounce cup and i make it in my regular 64 ounce container. Now, i have to either find a travel smoothie cup in a large size or use my 32 ounce plastic cup uncovered. I am considering buying the nutrabullet rx just for the to go smoothie. why doesnt vitamix make a larger blender cup? by the time i get in my frozen fruit, yogurt, greens powders, coconut oil m MTC oil, fiber, almond milk and any veggies i am at well over the 20 ounce capacity of the vitamix blender cup. PLEASE!!!! WHats the deal? make us a large smoothie blender cup!
