  1. I totally agree with you …. it's taken me a long time to figure this out and sometimes i will forget and go and start balbbing about what I know if you are too quiet you don't get the understanding via the questions. But the best way to sell is like you said
    Get the client talking about what they want initially it's a huge + step and then listen interject sometimes with some basic knowledge /understanding of the situation and then at some stage give them a basic idea of pricing usually a range lowest to high, I have found woks best . If you leave this basic pricing range out out it can backfire. I then organise a further consultation if needed either in person or at another time to finalise the deal.
    The hardest part is selling via email to engage the initial conversation.
